That Lady

The real-life That Lady and her beloved Sammy.

I draw rabbits. They are my life-blood. They are my bread and butter. I explore all aspects of life through them. My fine art explores transition in all forms. My comic explores the mundane: the adventures and daily grind of three rabbits and their owner.

I am a lifelong Ohio-ite and coincidentally, in lifelong debt due to two Bachelor degrees: one Fine Arts and one Business Science in Graphic Design/Illustration.

I currently live in the small village of Saint Paris, Ohio (Google it – You will not be disappointed) with my 2 raging bunnies, Miss Jackson and everyone’s favorite hot mess, Snow.

My work has been exhibited throughout the United States (including the Toledo Museum of Art), published in various international Design and Illustration annuals/books and has received many accolades and awards.

The comic, Regarding The Secret Life of Rabbits found syndication in BUNNY MAD MAGAZINE! in the UK and has been featured in several rabbit-care magazines.

RABBITY STATEMENT:
What started as a “RABBIT-A-DAY” creative exercise, turned into a life-long passion. Although my illustration/artwork covers the gamut of life and subject matter, I will forever give artistic expression to the little heartbeats at my feet.

Feel free to peruse and even drop me a line to say, “Hi!”
And by all means, indulge me! I love hearing stories about our beloved overlords (the rabbits who own us) and all of the adventures surrounding them.

I found your wonderful bunny collection through a friend … It comes close to capturing the totality of the bunny Gestalt, in all its myriad forms, than anything I have ever seen. Marvelous! And just a little scary – the images we can create from the template of a little woodland creature. Keep up the great work!
